About

My name is Peroz, pronounced like “Pay-Rose.”

Coach, Speaker, Artist, and Student of Social Confidence and Mental Health – Formerly Struggling with Social Anxiety and Depression, Ultimately, Just a Human.

I suffered from social anxiety for as long as I can remember. My first encounter with social anxiety was when I was 10 or 11—a few guests came to the house, and I had such severe anxiety that I hid from the guests for the whole day inside a cabinet to avoid the discomfort of being around people. The pain of being in the cabinet for hours was nothing compared to being around people and possibly being judged. I didn’t know what it was until I became an adult. This incident is one of many experiences I had to deal with when meeting new people or even when I was with friends.

Anxiety grew from that point to the extent that I didn’t even want to meet my friends once a year. I just wanted to disappear and avoid seeing anyone. Then, one day, I decided to get this under control—enough was enough. The pain had become so overwhelming that I had to make a commitment to change my life. I wanted to enjoy simple conversations, to feel at ease around people, and to enjoy talking to new people. My journey began slowly in 2014, and I decided to see a therapist. Unfortunately, my early therapists had no idea what social anxiety was and simply gave me medications, which didn’t help at all. For many years, I took medication without feeling any more confident. After three years, I decided to pursue a different path for my well-being. Eventually, I met a therapist who, though not very familiar with social anxiety, introduced me to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). This was a turning point in gaining control over my social anxiety. As I completed the homework and challenged my thoughts, I started to feel in control and relaxed. I thought, “Wow, no medications needed!

It wasn’t enough, though. I still had doubts and severe bouts of anxiety at times. I avoided talking to women and speaking up for myself. While CBT was a great starting point, the journey toward social confidence is much more than that. It’s about knowing who you are, constantly improving yourself, facing your fears, and, most importantly, building good daily habits. Challenging your thoughts is one of the best habits you can develop.

Eventually, I found a coach online through YouTube and Google searches. I read his materials and did the homework with all my heart. I wasn’t perfect at it, and I’m still not, but as my confidence slowly grew, I began studying many books on the subject, took courses, and attended various workshops. Most of the coaches, teachers, and researchers focus on three main areas, which I refer to as the “triangle of confidence.” It’s about developing habits that improve your thoughts, emotions, and behaviours.

Right now, I speak with strangers on a daily basis. I compliment people I encounter, and I can engage in conversations for as long as I want. I stand up for myself when necessary, and I approach beautiful women to compliment them. I even spoke in front of 1,000 people. Am I perfect? Not even close. I’m still learning.

There are many aspects of my confidence that I’m working on, such as dating, building long-term friendships, and understanding the relationship between diet and social confidence. I have a solid foundation of social confidence, and I know that I can overcome any challenge when I commit 100% and embrace my imperfections.

Social confidence feels serene, calm, and in control. It’s not about the macho, “giga chad” image; rather, it’s about being humble while knowing you can stand up for yourself. If you resonate with my story and journey, I salute you for reading this far, and I encourage you to take the coaching program.

If you are fully committed, as your coach, I will provide honest and effective tips for your weekly homework. I promise to offer you my genuine, unfiltered, and compassionate guidance throughout your journey.

I wish you all the best.

Peroz
